![]() One-way exit markers are semi-transparent and have lower z-index, cause they are not that important. a rift that spawns only after some quest is finished, it’s indicated by an asterisk symbol in the bottom right corner of the marker. If an entrance or an exit is initially hidden, e.g. If an entrance or an exit is one way, it’s indicated in the marker popup. The map includes markers for all important stuff, currently the lsit is as follows: riftgates, entrances and exits, shrines, notable chests and enemies, bounties, nemeses, super bosses, friendly NPCs, rogue dungeon entrances, detonation and repair sites, levers and dynamite locations. ![]() If you click on a riftgate or on a devotion shrine, you will be navigated to its location. By default the world overview map is shown (in game it’s called World Map, I just call it “overview” internally).Of course you’ll have to wait until map tiles are loaded if they aren’t cached already, but for now it seems to load pretty fast, unless of course you have crappy download speed. It’s pretty fast, all the necessary data (just around 500kb) without images is fetched on page load, so all transitions between areas, search, etc.I don’t wanna diminish the value of maphack, it’s a really good resource, I’m just stating this for comparison sake. This means that compared to maphack, which has some stuff missing and I believe is built manually, grimtools map is always up-to-date and shows reliable data. First of all like all my other tools, the map is built automatically from the game data.I admit that it took longer than expected, but personally it was rather fun and challenging at times, and I’m quite happy with the outcome Hey guys! So here’s the thing I’ve been working on and off for the past six months. You can join my discord server to discuss Grim Tools, leave feedback and bug reports. If you want you can support me via Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee. What Content Complete means to you, the players, is that you now have full access to all of the game’s content, items and difficulty modes.Offline/desktop version can be downloaded here I don't want that to happen!Įdit2: Looks like "Content Complete" wouldn't include an ending, so that could come with all the other quality of life things that come with bug fixes and maybe some UI changes. It'll likely lead to bad reviews and people not playing this great game. But if this is how they're going to "end" the core game by telling you you can play Elite and an NPC saying they're not ready for a ritual that you can't complete, then that's a pretty crappy ending. So not only do I not feel like I beat the game, but it doesn't tell the average person how to play Elite.Įdit: I love Grim Dawn and have put in over 500 hours. I know how to play Elite, pick it on the options on home screen, but none of that is explained in game. Now we're at the end and it doesn't even tell us. At least before we saw John Bourbon and knew we were at the end. I don't care if this isn't the end because of expansions, but this is the end of the game for the core game and I think Crate should put something more finite for the current ending. So basically I didn't beat the game I just beat a boss which is the last boss. No credits roll, No sense like I beat the game, No ending story or cinematic. ![]() I beat the end boss, a message says Elite unlocked, I get some loot, hand in the last quest at Ikon, and that's it.
